The Lord commands Moses, Aaron, Nadab and the seventy elders to worship him.
Moses is the only one allowed to come closer. The people agreed in one voice.
Moses wrote down everything the Lord had said.
Moses built and set up an altar the next day at the foot of the mountain to honor God.
He set up twelve stone pillars representing the twelve tribes of Israel.
He sent young Israelite men to offer burnt offerings as fellowship offering to the Lord.
Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls and the other half he splashed on the altar.
Moses took the Book of the Covenant and read it the people and said, “We will obey.”
Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people and blessed them.
Moses, Aaron, Nadab and Abihu and the seventy elders went before God.
They saw God and ate and drank and God did not raise his hand against them.
God instructed Moses to come up to the mountain to receive the tablets and commandments.
The tablets were God’s instructions for the people.
Moses and Joshua his assistant went before God.
Moses told the elders to wait until we come back. Aaron and Hur will be here with you.
If there is a dispute, you can go before them.
*Moses Upon Mount Sinai
Moses went up the mountain and the cloud covered it and the glory settled on Mount Sinai.
For six days the cloud covered the mountain and the seventh day the Lord called Moses.
The people saw a consuming fire upon the mountain.
Moses stayed forty days and nights upon the mountain.
