Plague of the Firstborn
The Lord told Moses he would bring one more plague on Pharaoh and Egypt.
The Lord instructed Moses to tell the people to ask for silver and gold articles.
The Lord made the people give the articles and the Pharaoh’s officials regarded Moses.
The Lord told Moses, “About midnight I will go among Egypt and every firstborn son will die.”
The firstborn of Pharaoh, the son of the female slave, the firstborn of the cattle, too.
There will be a loud wailing throughout Egypt as never before.
Not a dog will bark at any person or animal said the Lord.
The Lord will make a distinction between Egypt and the Israel.
The Lord told Moses he hardened Pharaoh’s heart so that the Lord’s wonders are multiplied.“
The Pharaoh hardened his heart and would not let the people go.
