Exodus 9
The Plague of Livestock
The Pharaoh continued to refuse to let the people go. The livestock of the Egyptians died.
The Israelites were protected by the Lord and no Israelites livestock were injured.
The Plague of Boils
The Lord said to Moses and Aaron to take handfuls of soot and toss it into the air.
All people and animals festered with boils except the Israelites according to the Lord.
The Lord continued to harden the Pharaoh’s heart and he would not let the people go.
The Plague of Hail
The Lord told Moses and Aaron to speak to Pharaoh again.
The Lord sent rain, hail and thunder over the Egyptians.
The Pharaoh cried out again and Moses prayed to the Lord.
The Israelites in the land of Goshen were not harmed.
The Pharaoh continued to harden his heart once Moses prayed and the Lord stopped the storms.
